I am a pioneer in the world of digital child safety and abuse prevention. At MySpace we were the first to get trained by the FBI, work with Law enforcement, created the first Internet guides to spot and prevent abuse. After seeing so much pain and hurt, I made it my mission to actively help victims of any kind of violence. This has to stop, we have to speak about it to empower, and give hope for a possible great life after.
Being myself a victim of sexual misconduct, I know how hard it is do deal with it and not let it effect your life. My mission is to give the resources that are needed to overcome and excel. Also, I want to be an inspiration, that you can still pursue your dreams to the fullest.
I am also the CEO of the biggest Media Company in Austria. Now working to expand to the USA as well. My goal is to make a lot of noise around this topic. What better way, than to have a dominant media outlet to do so.
On top, I am a mom, which is the best job ever. And I am working on other start ups. Mostly in technology and mostly with women, to create new opportunities and conquer a male dominated field.
Together with Richard he founded www.socialcity.at. A foundation that focuses on social projects to make living in the city of Vienna better and takes care of people, who fall through the social safety net by political overlooking.
The foundation Social City started to involve politicians and the corporate world to mend the existing gaps. Their current big success is the campaign ‘Fighting loneliness ‘. Their yearly congress attracts a lot of attention to this topic. They are definitely pioneers in bringing attention where it’s needed.
